Time Trials are currently held on a regular basis, once these requests are approved by MetSEA. 

All strokes are available from 50mtrs to 200mtrs.

A) Peakhurst ASC Club members and 2nd Claim swimmers.

Each day that the Club has approval from MetSEA to conduct a time trial or is conducting an
Open Carnival all events on those days with the exception of 15 metre form strokes, 30 metre
50 metre and 75-metre medleys will be treated as time trail attempts. No specific approval
from the Race Committee will be required. At the conclusion of the day all other times will
be uploaded to Swim Central.

There will be no additional fee for these time trial attempts.

On a Club Day outlined above, if a swimmer wishes to seek a time in an event not scheduled
for the day or at a distance they are not qualified to swim in a Club. A request to the Race
Committee at least 7 days before that date must be made by the swimmer or their
representative. The request must include the reason why this time is required.
Race Committee may or may not approve that request.

An additional fee of $2.00 per attempt will apply to these requests.

B) Visitors and other Swimmers.

Visitors and other Swimmers wishing to request a Time Trial at Peakhurst ASC Inc, these
requests will only be received on days outlined in (A) above when MetSEA approval
has been obtained. The swimmer or their representative should contact the Club at
peakhurstasc@gmail.com at least one week before the date of the time trial request.
At this time the swimmer or their representative must provide the Peakhurst ASC with
the following information:-

Swimmer’s name
Date of Birth
Current Club
Event(s) they wish to trial in
Current PB in those events
Reason for attempting the time trial ( e.g., meet you are trying to qualify for)

Cost of each time trial attempt is $6.50 ($5.00 + $1.50 to cover the SNSW Meet Levy)

These attempts at the discretion of the Club Race Committee may be swum as part of the club
day seeded events or as individual swims.
